New Directions is a three-week evening course for high school students and their parents. It’s designed to develop an awareness of all aspects of chemical abuse, and to equip students and their parents with the understanding and skills to successfully navigate the high risk years of adolescence. Every teenager and parent can benefit from the educational presentations and peer discussion groups that are a part of each session. Participants find their way to New Directions through referrals from concerned parents, educators, clergy, counselors and the courts.
Where: Saint Michaels and All Angels Church, 8011 Douglas Ave. Dallas 75225. Class will be held in the Coke Room on the first floor.
